Signification de profiles d’expression de gènes

[fr]Transcription profiles, also called "Genetic Profiles" or "digital Northerns" are generated by partially sequencing thousands of randomly selected clones from relevant cDNA libraries. Differentially expressed genes can then be detected from variations in the counts of their cognate sequence tags (or "ESTs"). Genes differentially expressed in different tissues, during development, or during specific pathologies are of foremost interest to both basic and pharmaceutical research. The "Body (...)

Identification de régions codantes dans des génomes de bactéries

[fr]The program for self-identification is now available only for download. The email server is no longuer maintained. Purpose The program takes in input a set of sequences in fasta format. As we use a statistical method, based on Markov chains of order 5, we need a minimum of sequence data. This minimum has been set to 500000 nucleotides, which should be reasonable in most cases. The output of the program is a classification of your input data in three categories : coding along the (...)
